The Clinic only collects the personal information necessary for the administration of your dental care and uses it solely for these purposes. Regarding medical information, it is considered “sensitive” personal information that the Clinic takes care to protect in accordance with its Privacy Policy. The Clinic collects your personal information during telephone or email communications, when you complete your health questionnaire, and thereafter throughout your dental examinations and treatments.

However, as part of its activities, the Clinic may disclose your personal information to third parties, service providers, or partners, in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, when such disclosure is necessary for the performance of a mandate or the execution of a service or business contract entrusted by the Clinic. These may include, among others, the following individuals or organizations:
a. Medical laboratories;
b. Physicians or other healthcare professionals who are bound by professional confidentiality obligations;
c. Public or private insurance organizations;
d. External advisors (lawyers, accountants);
When the Clinic discloses your personal information to third parties, it ensures that they take the necessary measures to protect your personal information.
5. How and for how long do we retain your personal information?
Your personal information is stored in a location that is not accessible to the public, in a locked cabinet and/or on our password-protected servers. It is retained for a period of five years following the last entry in your file.
6. Can you access your personal information or withdraw your consent?
At any time, you may request access to your personal information, request that it be corrected, withdraw your consent to its use and/or disclosure, or file a complaint regarding the protection of your personal information.
